Chronic Giardia
My puppy has chronic giardia. I’m doing some research to see what can be done about it and came across this comment in that stupid Yahoo answers website. It made me cry.
Your dog has the same issue. He cannot overcome it. And he probably should be destroyed because his immune system is not able to effectively function.
Just an FYI - I won’t be ‘destroying’ my dog.
don’t worry — nyc in spring is a giardia minefield. he’ll probably have to go on metronidazole for ten days or something like that, but he should get over it. my older dog had chronic giardia when he was 5 months or so. it seemed like we would never get rid of it, but we *totally* did, and he’s fine now :)
