i think the point of the swine flu/condom post
is sensationalization in the news. i understand that breathing someone’s air and having sex with someone are two different things. however, the media completely blows swine flu out of proportion while kind of glossing over things like the pope’s incredibly forward-thinking and innovative views on condoms and AIDS, not to mention the alarming prevalence of genital herpes in this effing city/country. so, that said, i’m glad not *everyone* is wearing a mask (though i did see a masked dude yesterday). not *everyone* wears a condom, either. sad, but true.
